Done one in the first race (Flaming Spear) and may do Dubawi Fifty in the last.
Probably the 2 worst races on the card. Lol.
Some good racing to watch today but not for betting in, imo.

Hopeless this end. Glad I went out and enjoyed the sunshine and sea breeze. A couple in the tv picks but nothing back for that. Ah well said the soul. Ahh soul said the well. Try again tomorrow. Just had a busy half hour making sure that everything that needs it is secure and tied up in the garden. Big storm forecast for us in the next 12 hours. It is very warm and...

Just looked at all my on line firms and, unfortunately for you, Spice, you appear to have chosen the only one who doesn't have a fav or 2nd fav selection. :-((

Just my luck. I only do that if I don't fancy anything, so it's not too important. Might even work in my favour. ;)
Me and Togo had the 1st & 2nd in the 1.50. (on the far side)
Question Author
1:25 that was.
Question Author
Or try 1.15 and you had the F/C, ken.
grr. I'm trying to do 2 things at once and not making a great fist of either.
Me, too (if you mean the 1-15):-( Took almost everything into account bar the draw. I base my bets on stats and, as this was the first time or this particular race, there were none.
That's more like the Royal Ascot I've become used to. Not a placed horse :-//
Question Author
I did the last winner. Came out even on the day.
Question Author
I've never liked Ascot, for betting, especially the Royal meeting.
Over at Bev, courtesy of Fahey and Johnston, I managed 2 winners @ 3/1 and 5/2 (the one that let me down, Bavardages (also Johnston's) was plumb last!!!) Got £12.13 back so;

£2.13 on both City and Sheff Utd to score over 1 goal each @ 7/2

3 x £2 win, 50p patent, 50p treble; City 3-1, Sheff 2-1 and Leipzig 2-1. They say God loves a trier. Let's see if he really exists :-))
Hi Guys.....Glad I stayed out on the promenade again. When I got in I saw that I had had "seconditis" with 2 to go. Did a couple of quid on each and a little double. The Queen's horse won for me, instead of coming second which happened in the 1.50. Nothing to write home about again but pride salvaged with the places and at least one winning. Get the blighters tomorrow. Bootiful day here again the promised rain never made a show and I am now furiously watering everything....which normally guarantees a deluge. "Gottle of geer".
We'll knock 'em bow-legged tomorrow, guys :-)))
Haha Ken....Football on the telly. In June. With the sun blazing down. The world has gone mad.
Righto...let's see if I can brighten up a dull and cold day for myself.(and a new sun parasol has just arrived to shield us from the, now, non existent sun) Done the ITV7 cos in is £150k today after not being won again. Noticed that 3 players had 6 winners going into the last yesterday and non won it. Bet they were sick. Done a little punt to start me off and in the first besides doing Hypothetical I have done a tricast perm with Highland Chief and Tritonic with it. Both of them are in my Sporting Life "stable" so I cannot just ignore them. Likewise King Ottokar in the 1.50 on which I have done a little e/w single. I will also be having a look at Regal Reality in the 1.50 with King Ottokar.
Hypothetical @5/1 1.15(see above)
Celestin @9/2 2.25
Modern News @7/2 3.00
Verboten @4/1 4.10(rev f/cast Enemy)

£1.00 Acca 40p Doubles and Trebles.
ITV7 The bottom 3 of those with Regal Reality 1.50, Junoesque 3.15Nm, Stradivarius 3.35, Soffika 4.40. I have also done 6 and 5 timers from the ITV7 punt but left Stradivarius out, it being odds on. Good Luck if you are having a go and I may well be chasing a punt later if things go pear shaped early seeing as I am not going for a stroll.
Begin with a £2 win on Hypothetical in the first @ 5/1 and a Rev f/c with Maori Knight.

Did a bit of studying last night but the altered going has scuppered much of what was written on my pad, so i'm having to re-evaluate my choices. Hence the delay :-((

Oh yeah, and I proved that God does not exist.
Speaking of God; Highland Chief tipped up by AP McCoy on Willy Hill TV. He's gone for my first selection in the next.

1.50; Sir Dragonet @ 2/1
2.25; King Leonidas @ 9/4
4.10; Enemy @ 10/1 (£2 win and Rev f/c with the fav)
4.40; Declared Interest @ 17/2 (£2 win)

20p Lucky 15, £1 e.w. acca. 4 placed = £23, 4 winners = £1,470.

£2 win First Prophet in the 3.00 Asc @ 13/2
£1 e.w. Nayef Road in the 3.35 Asc @ 16/1

Best of luck with the rest of your bet, Togo.
What a start. :))

Did you do the c/fc in the first race, togo?
Like ken, I picked a few out yesterday, couldn't be bothered to look again with soft going. Had an 8/1 and 11/2 winner in my original bet. Thank heavens the other 2 didn't win.
Question Author
Bet against Stradivarius. Sacrilege, lol.
Yes Spice, did the f/casts and a little e/w on the winner. As I said it is in the stable I have set up with the sporting life site and they give me notifications when they are running. I have chosen them over the months from races where they have caught my eye or had mentions in despatches from columnists and the like. Hypothetical let me down for the tricast though. Started like a house on fire then crashed and burned. Still it was good to see Stradivarius gallop em into the ground again. Have a little look at Verboten and Enemy, and Soffika in the last. I note that Varian's Waliyak has been gambled down in the last.....soft ground winner in the past
Your Answer...Have you seen this pic in the DT today - brilliant...he's a dedicated racing/horses fan and only 3.....and his pny even has the patience to allow a dog to sit on him...
