Done one in the first race (Flaming Spear) and may do Dubawi Fifty in the last.
Probably the 2 worst races on the card. Lol.
Some good racing to watch today but not for betting in, imo.

Hopeless this end. Glad I went out and enjoyed the sunshine and sea breeze. A couple in the tv picks but nothing back for that. Ah well said the soul. Ahh soul said the well. Try again tomorrow. Just had a busy half hour making sure that everything that needs it is secure and tied up in the garden. Big storm forecast for us in the next 12 hours. It is very warm and...

Well done with the f/c, Togo. Didn't realise that's what you'd done. Even if it wins the last, Declared Interest wouldn't rescue the day so it looks as if my Royal Ascot consistency is intact. Just the second placed Nayef Road to show for my (double) efforts.
Switched my attention to the football (again) and see both play off games ending in BTTS & Draw (both 10/3) and BTTS & Huesca to win (again 10/3) in the Spanish Segunda. Trixie/Treble and a poss £236 return.
Roger Varian is on fire. 3 Winners today.

Yes saw it DTC gotta laugh haven't you.
Weird isn't it, how a trainer or jockey 'fires' on any given day. Jim Crowley with a hat-trick on Day 1, Doyle with a couple yesterday and Varian's turn today. Just a pity we cannot pre-empt just who is in for a good day:-(
Great ride by Hayley in the last. She's still got it.
Great ride indeed, but she will not be popular with a lot of punters today. She thwarted a big gamble on Varian's filly which was done down from a double figure price early on. I think when I looked for soft ground winners, earlier on when it was obvious that it was going to have a big effect, it was at 12s I think. Touched 7/2 just before the off. Ouch that is a lot of dosh in a 16 horse race.

Did the second in the last. If someone has to beat me, I'm glad it's Hayley. ;-)
Did Khaloosy at 13/2 so had an OK day.
Always been a big fan of Varien's.

^ Not big enough to spell his name properly, obviously. ;-)
Just been having a quick look at tomorrows runners and note that another from my "stable" is running. The Lir Jet. Will have a closer look at it in the morning.
Tonight's L15 began with a bang - Buccaneer's Vault @ 16/1...……….then nothing:-(
I feel sorry for all the poor bookies, queuing up at the food banks.
I feel even sorrier for all those poor fools who join in threads believing their message to be original.
I want the summer back pronto and this heavy ground isn't making it any easier. I am keeping stakes low today and looking for a bit of E/W from horses that have run with credit in the soft before. The first race looks nailed on for the King Power mob with Art Power but I have had a little e/w punt on Mighty Spirit @16/1. Fahey has been very quiet of late and must be overdue a result. I note that the jockey Megan Nicholls takes off a handy 3lb as well. I wonder if she is related to Paul Nicholls the NH trainer? The ITV7 hits £200k today having rolled over again, so that is a must. Besides the first race single I have done...
Morando @7/1 3.00
Southern Hills @25/1 3.35( & E/W Single)
Borne With Pride @11/4
Indianapolis @10/1

£1.00 E/W Acca 30p e/w Doubles and Trebles
Little £2.00 double on Mother Earth 1.50 & The Lir Jet 2.25.

The ITV7 is the 6 horses named above and Gladice 2.00 Newmarket.
Good Luck if you have a little flutter. Think I will nip down to the chippy for a bit of lunch.
Meghan is Paul's Daughter, Togo. Rode a couple of winners for her dad last week.
Righto Ken...I suspected so. I could have binged it up I suppose but I thought that you would know. Notice you had a late on creepy crawly last night. I blame the drink.( Not yours....I know you can handle it) :))
Never been scared of 'creepy crawlies' Togo :-)).
Quite a disappointing card today with just the 2 handicaps for me to get my teeth into. And, as you say, the first is all about whether or not the fav reproduces it's last run (I'm hoping that the step back in trip is a negative for it).

1.15 Asc; Keep Busy @ 15/2
2.00 Nm; Clever Candy @ 11/2
3.45 Nm; Peace Prevails @ 9/2
4.40 Asc; Medal Winner @ 10/1

4 x £2 wins, 20p Lucky 15, £1 e.w. acca. 4 placed = £36, 4 winners = £3,506.

3 x £2 wins on; Dandalla @ 9/1, Defoe @ 7/1 & Nobel Prize @ 8/1.

2 x £1 e.w. on; Jojo Rabbit @ 20s & Royal Lytham @ 20s.

£1 e.w. on the ITV 7 which consists of all those mentioned above - whatever the prices :-))))

Best of luck.

If I was up the pub betting today, I'd be betting at Newmarket and Tipp and watching Ascot.
Done the Fav in the first. Good luck, all.
Little bit special, that winner. Very impressive.
That's better. That one looks handy as well Ken. Qatar Racing paid top money for it after it won a modest race ay Yarmouth. I have been waiting for it ever since.

2 bets today. Fav in the first, Scarlet Dragon in the last, lol.
Easy, this game, innit. ;-)
Ahh well I am down to my one a day statistic. Never mind get em tomorrow. Nothing can spoil my day. Dylan's new "Album Rough And Rowdy Ways" was released today, the album that Murder Most Foul was pre-released from. Great album. I have even purchased it on my I player so that I can take it out in the car. Some great tracks but Key West is a classic already. You will love it Ken, as will many others on here. With Spice's permission I am going to post the track and lyrics on this thread. Hope you don't mind Spice.
