Am watching Man Utd v Liverpool. 5-0 to Liverpool so far, and Pogba sent off. Fans are standing up and literally walking out of the grounds in disgust. Honestly don’t think I’ve ever seen them play so bad. Half hr still to go.

Taxi for oli I fear. The players after take some blame though. Could end up 0-8
. . . and all on the same weekend that Aunty Beeb has chosen to remind Man U fans of this too . . .

Bobbin - I fear you may be right, tho what in gods name the players are playing at I do not know!!
Buenchicho, I know, the irony!
Can't wait to see the highlights.
Liverpool's total dominance certainly made for a quite boring last 25 mins. Gary Neville was right. United's defence has been porous all season and it was only a matter of time before someone gave them a spanking. They play City in a couple of weeks, too!
Gary Davies is interviewing Brian Cox just now on Radio 2 and a listener sent in a question for the professor.
Q; Who do you think knows more about space, you or the Man Utd defence?
A: Perhaps the distance between defenders should be measured in light years. :-))

Lol I like that Ken!!
I'd like to thank Manchester United fot making me remember, as a Tottenham fan, that there is always someone worst off than you are. :-)
Redman would have been over the moon, really a three horse race this season. I would like United to beat city but can't see it happening. Would help a lot though.
As a Burnley fan, i am quite used to 5-0 hammerings, particularly at the hands of Man City (only lost 2-0 this season!!!) so it's nice to see someone else's fav team suffer the same fate now and then :-)
We play your lot in the cup this week, Mozz. Will you still talk to me after we've put you out? :-J

I spoke to Mr Smow after the match and said just why are they playing so bad lately and his exact answer was “they get paid too much money for too little effort”.
Ken, if I didn't talk to everybody who supports a team that have stuffed Spurs, I'd be a complete recluse ;-)
I wondered what Liverpool fans made of Sky’s coverage. It’s customary after a game for players from the winning team and the manager to be interviewed first but instead we had the wretched Harry Maguire and the even more wretched Ole Gunnar Solksjaer punctuated by comments from disgruntled fans outside the ground.
When we were finally promised an interview with the now unbespectacled Herr Klopp, what we instead got, bafflingly, was Jenson Button!
Still, I daresay in the circumstances they probably didn’t mind. After Everton’s implosion the previous day it was pretty much perfect …
Man United’s problem is Solskjaer is trying to get them to play in the same way as the top three and the players aren’t pacy enough to do it.He needs to sit down and work out a formula that suits his players not what others are playing.David Moyes who went to Old Trafford at the wrong time is now enjoying some success because he and his coaches have worked out the best system to suit the players they have.If the United stars won’t buy into it and start “playing for the shirt” then there is only one other option, get players in who will.
Surely if the problem is what you say it is - and I am sure you are right - then it's the fault of the coach(es)
United are a bit of a joke tbh: they move and spend the earth to finally acquire Jadon Sancho, then at the last minute they snap up Ronaldo at a fraction of the price and Sancho doesn't get a game!
Their vision seems to extend no further than the next big name available on the transfer market. Klopp without his glass can see further than Solskjaer could with a telescope
There's always hope - the year my team were thrashed 7-1 by Colchester United, they poached Colchester's manager and ended the season getting promotion (to the second tier).

But somehow I don't think Manchester Untied [sic] have any chance of poaching Klopp.

The truth is that Ole is a good manager but not an elite manager that Man United usually have.
