There have been calls for a winter break in English football for decades.

This season we had one due to the World Cup.

Do you think in altered the season for good or bad? Or made no difference at all?

Well it delayed the season by about 3 weeks in the end so no biggy either way.

I am no expert but the players had only a short off season break, although this may have been due to the long world cup.

As long as it doesn't eat into tattooing or idiotic haircut time I doubt anyone bothers.
