I bought and installed Windows Office last month - and took up the offer of a free 1 month trial of Windows Publisher. When I went to print a letter this morning, nothing happened. I've checked and 'product activated' is shown re Windows Office - but from my brief glance at the 'help' section, it looks as if I have to uninstall and then reinstall. Is this so - and does it mean that I will have used up another of my 'three users'?

You only have a a license for Office Basic. Publisher is only in the Professional version.

Why are you writing letters in Publisher? Use Word. It is probably more than you need. anyway. So many people waste tehir money buying Office to get Word when WordPad that comes free with Windows is really all they need.

I DID type my letter using Word! (I used the Publisher once, to do a gift certificate for someone's birthday.) Maybe I saved it in the wrong format, wrong place or something - will have another try tomorrow.
Reinstalling will not use up another one of your licenses.

Thanks, chuckfickens - I'll probably just opt to reinstall (won't uninstall till I've made sure I have theproduct key!)
