Web cam - no video

I use the logitech e3500 webcam.
I can take photographs with it but can no longer take videos with it.
When quick capture the image is selected the image is displayed on scren and both the icons for taking photgraphs and video appear but the video icon does not work. There are saved vidoes which play ok but not able to record new ones.
Any ideas?
Have updated the logitech software in device manager and am using Windows 7 O/S

I would UN-install the software first from Programs. Then clean up temp files, then reboot and re-install software and try again.
