I have just started to use Audacity along with a comprehensive book. I would like to listen while recording but the information I am given does not apply. I mam using windows 7 with the windows high definition audio system. Any ideas please

There is a setting to playback whilst recording - can't remember off top of my head where it is try Google

Than you Tuvok. I had trouble with the program, uninstalled it and then reinstalled. I then found the Help manual on the program and all my problems were solved using simple English not a complication USA version. What a superb program it is when you discover where to look. thanks to all involved in my Audacity problems.
