Avast Blocking My External Hard Drive

My Avast demanded to be updated yesterday, so I did. Now when I plug my external hard drive in (a little Maxell portable) nothing comes up and I can't back things up. I assume these two events are connected as there was no trouble till today.

Is there any way to tell Avast to permit it? Or of restoring the earlier Avast? (Though I assume the latter would be risky.)

(Please don't advise installing MSE instead as I had the same trouble with it in the past; that's why I installed Avast in the first place.)

which one did you install Neti? I’ve got Adblock plus on a Mac and it just works....you can tell because you start to see bare holes on the page

quite pleasant today, and it is Free London Walks weekend so we went on one along the river from Hammersmith to Chiswick. The guide was very nice but her voice couldn't always compete with being under the Heathrow flightpath.

Good afternoon all. Lovely day if a bit too hot already and it's only May.
We had to go to hija's flat as her wardrobe door had come off so Mr N did that and I did her ironing. The guys are returning tomorrow and she's not happy as she's had the flat all to herself for weeks. Being of the gay community they likr the flat spotless so she had washed the table runner ( I ask you! ) and it was creased so I had to iron that. We showed her how to work the tv and the air com and the tumble dryer. It's a dinky little place and I like it but there is no balcony so that would drive me mad.
Woofy no idea just installed adblocker. There are no ads on page at all.
Mr N and I walked around the famous vara de Reynolds which they have spent mi
lions on and ruined it, and now they are redoing it! It's a boring hot mess. We had a couple,of beers and tapas and then walked around and ate in Burger King as weren't very hungry. I don't eat burgers so had chicken wings and chips and am soft ice-cream. Yum. Face is a bit sore today and fat but alls well.

Not this biddy jno, in fact am keeping out of the sun until Mr N sorts out the pool, although it was a a tad over cast today, sun's out now. I have made flavoured scotch eggs,mcurry one, coriander, Branston pickle, and cheese, I have a normal one and one coated in crisps as I ran out of breadcrumbs and cba to make,more.

I have been unblocking a toilet ‘nuff said. When we get heavy rain the downstairs loo runs slower and slower and I have to get my snake out.

Lovely day here ,'twas very warm in the garden but I doubt it was warm on the beach ,so no surfing at the moment.
Nothing exciting here ,just a boiler service which was all ok apart from them trying to sell us a new one because "It could be possible that they won't be able to get the parts in future " which is nonsense.

I love unblocking loos. Did you know that a string mop plunged up and down quickly clears most blockages? I even open the sewer lid and clear the drain when I have to. I'm a dirty little begger aren't I. Just catching up with George Gently.

The cleaners at Ibiza airport are on strike as they haven't been paid for 3 months. All loos closed and the rubbish is piling up everywhere. It is a disgrace and II was the first to offer to clean it if someone Can arrangege it. A few shiitey loos never hurt anyone! Certainly won't be the first time I've done it.
