Hi I know this question must have been asked before but I just wanted clarification I successfully removed norton anti virus 06 program but when I go round my pc there is still symantec parts still remaining can I delete these or is it best to just ignore them,I installed Zone Alarm Fire Wall AVG free anti virus and AVG anti spyware free part.

Question is will free Mailwash interfere with any of the others and do I realy need Mailwash Thanks TEZ

Use mailwash if you use outlook express for your email, if you like. Either that or personally I'd recommend using Thunderbird instead (similar but better to the above two combined).

To remove all norton stuff (supposedly), use this:

Fo3nix has pointed you in the right direction. This problem is Nortons big failing.Really deep hooks into your system registry are always an issue with Norton stuff..Getting rid of all the remaining "crud" left by Symantec is recommended as I have known these remnants to upset ZoneAlarm in some instances.!! The link fo3nix has provided should help..but knowing Norton...there might be some hooks left in your registry. If you are not familiar with editing the registry...leave well alone..it's a dangerous place to fiddle around in if you don't know what you are doing. See how things go after following the advice fo3nix gave you and if you have need of further help...post again ...Ed
