full path

ive just ticked (,display the full path in the address bar ) in the folder option ,,just to learn a bit more, but i cant see any thing has happened ,could some body explain
this path thing please

Lets say you were viewing the C:\Windows\System32 folder.

With display full path in address bar ticked you would see just that, i.e. C:\Windows\System32. With the option unticked you'd just see the folder you were currently viewing, i.e. System32.

It may appear that nothing has changed because the setting only applies to the current view, to change the behaviour for all folders you need to click 'Apply to all folders'.

Thanks Gobblegeek ,I think I understand , but now I know or think I know ile leave the ticking alone for abit ,before I
tick the whole thing up.
