when I click on a photo in My Pictures it insists on opening in Adobe Photoshop Album Starter Edition 3.0 (I didn't even know I had this but I assume it came with Photoshop Elements 3). I'm given the option of opening in Windows Picture Viewer, which I want (quicker and less 'noisy' to look at), but have to do it every time. Where can I change the default to Picture Viewer? I've got Windows XP.

our Saudi neighbour has just been round with some seasonal presents, as he is off back to Jeddah next week. The bottles of wine we can drink, and very nice it looks too. The tin of Quality Street I think we can pass on to other recpients on Dec 25. No chance of that with the box of Ferrero Rocher, not if we want to be able to hold up our heads in public again, so we'll have to eat that ourselves.
oh dear poor you!
My lovely modern hairdryer went bang when Mr N switched it on, luckily I have 3 others!!

that's interesting, rain at noon in Dubai for the next few days. How dare they? I'm sure if it happened here we'd cut off Michael Fish's right hand. I shall have to lunch indoors in the cool.
Jno, before you part with the quality street would you pick out all the green triangles for me please?

I finally thawed out about 8 oclock, I'll try six layers tomorrow instead of five....There was a huuuge fox in my garden just now...thought I'd share that with you.
Bon voyage Jno .Have a lovely time .
Don't worry about us ,if things do go pear shaped we're all going to decamp to Ibiza .Plenty of kettles, toasters and hairdryers over there:)
Greetings from the frozen north, -2C, realfeel of -4C. it looks a whole lot better than it feels....soooo, I'm off to Dubai with you jno, I've won the euromillions. Just grab me a seat please & I'll pay you back.

[i]best not mention it's £2.80 until we get there[i]
hmmm, my italics are frozen upright
Morning all
Lovely and sunny but bloomin' cold .
It's a couple of degrees above freezing here .
Well done Robinia ,try not to spend it too frivolously .You could always thaw your italics out with one of Netis hairdryers.
Good morning!

Ha ha shaney Mr N was trying to thaw out the No-frost freezer with it when it went bang!

Have done the shopping and sent Mr N off to golf (a walk will do you good said I plus I cannot stand having him under my feet another day!) and off he trotted saying apologetically I may be back early!

Was sunny but cold here, it's a damp cold and that is what makes it worse.

Am trying out his soupmaKer, he fiulled it and left instructions but all it does is stay cold and makes funny signs in it's window, up to now it's taken an hour when it should be 21 mins!
Hi all. Have caught up with your posts. Have a good time Jno and I hope your eye gets sorted. Shaney hope all goes well too.
Everyone else hope you are ok.
I'm off to a personal trainer this afternoon for a session. My friend is going too to see what we can do.
I'll be back next weekend. Be happy and I'll see you later!
Jude - back next weekend, how long is this training session?????

Oh no the curse has hit yet again, the soupmaker (his pride and joy) isn't working, I've tried it 3x, no joy, he'll go mad, it's bound to be my fault

Cold but sunny here, accu says 16º but I really do not believe it, my hands are like ice!!, have on two jumpers, a pair of leggings (yes Robi but dark grey and never to be seen outside my house!) pair thick socks and woolly slipper bootees.
Acc says 16º feels like 10º - that's more like it!
I've got a brilliant soup maker, it never lets me down...it's called Heinz.

I've been clearing leaves, one more fall should see them all gone. Maybe I should get Jude and her trainer to pound the ground under the tree to make the last few hurry up. I'll need a personal osteopath at this rate, I ache like hell.
Have a good time Jude!
Can't afford Heinz, wish we could £5 a tin!!
oh that's outrageous neti...4 tins of tommy soup were £2.50 at Iceland.
Oh nooo, you haven't sabotaged the soupmaker have you Neti ?
Five quid for a tin of tommy soup ...blimey .Are they gold plated tins ?
Have a nice time Jude .

Soup was perfick, just like Heinz. The soupmaker wouldn't work for Mr N either, kept stopping, and the bottom was all burnt, so he ended up doing it in saucepan with croutons and cream. We think it is because he put two slices of bread in the bottom of the electric jug and thus it soaked up most of the liquid and the machine's safety cut out, cut out! Trying it again tomorrow, I do hope that is all it is.

Heinz things are expensive, as all most British foods cos they ave to be exported and then shipped across to the island, adding on euros all the way.
I do love tomato soup, and Knorr packet is yukky!!!
