opening photos

when I click on a photo in My Pictures it insists on opening in Adobe Photoshop Album Starter Edition 3.0 (I didn't even know I had this but I assume it came with Photoshop Elements 3). I'm given the option of opening in Windows Picture Viewer, which I want (quicker and less 'noisy' to look at), but have to do it every time. Where can I change the default to Picture Viewer? I've got Windows XP.

Oooh off to oz I go. Don't like Gary Barlow but love Paul Hollywood, but alas I could be both their mothers. I just like the easy way he talks to people.

good morning! its a sad reflection on how many men's mother I could be so I won't. We went out this morning, back much better. Stomach settling after an exciting day yesterday and I am soooooooo glad I know what causes it. I am having a pottery tidy up ready for my new fridge next week. Fridge arrives tues and it will be fitted on thurs/fri. I am also getting ready to start putting the decs up (which i love) and ignoring the the cheesy hype which I hate.
I have found this stuff on amazon, which is not exactly cheap, but very delicious if you like hot chocolate. I am going to keep some in the car for chilly moments and some at home for the inevitable winter power cuts.

oooh, it's windy out...something's been digging holes in my garden too.
I'm not getting much done today, I keep starting things and then I wander off and leave it.

It's ok neti, he likes older women, his wife is a bit too old to be my daughter.
Tarquin's partner's a couple of years older than he is too.....I like younger men so it all balances out, lol.

I'm not a big fan of hot chocolate but that looks like a good idea for those out and about.

Gosh it's so cold and damp here, accu says 16º I should coco! Am trying a new eco heating system in front room, saw it on youtube. It's 4 tea lights in a bread mould, covered with a plant pot with the hole covered and then a bigger plant pot, and eventually the heat will emerge, some friends here have done it and say it's good, but they have smaller modern front rooms!

The bloke who put that on the net was also using a desktop computer Neti. My desktop pumps out heat like a radiator!
I just answered the door forgetting for once to remove my lunch and the dogs stole half of it. It was smoked salmon and bread and butter pickle chips.

My lappy gives out lots of heat, awful in summer but at night I have it on my lap in bed, ooh lovely. Well the plant pot is getting warmish and I can feel the ehat coming out but not too good, at least I can wrap my cold hands around the pot and get warm.

Pots are nice and warm but won't try that again. Have lit the gas fire, gosh it is so cold but apparently it's still 16° so I must stop wimping and go on the beach!

Hello all .It's a bit grim out there ,very windy and raining in bits .
Nothing exciting going on here .
I'm not all that keen on Paul Hollywood .He's an attractive man and he knows it .Huge ego .I watched his Pies and Puds programme a few times but it was all about him and I thought he was a bit condescending to the guests ,and he kept licking his fingers and tasted something from a spoon and then stuck it back in the pan ...eugh ..
I love that little outfit .Very sweet .

Mr N thought I was strange doing the pot plant thing!! so no more!

New cordless headphones do not appear to have the right cables, so will return them tomorrow, prepare for a fight, they do not like exchanging goods over here.

I think I'll get a few of those elves and put them in strategic positions around the house .Definitely one in the fridge saying ...."Who ate the last slice of salt beef "...

I like the elves too. They started off ad a bit goody goody, placed around the house to say to kids that they were being watched and the elves would tell Santa what they had been up to. Gradually they morphed into naughty elves who steal sweets and so on...then REALLY naughty elves!

Morning all...very cold but bright 'n sunny. I'm itching to clear up the last of the leaves but my aching side still hasn't gone so I daren't risk making it worse, I've got xmas shopping to do in the week (when it's hopefully quieter). Maybe an elf will do it for me....although it's usually a case of do it yours elf here :)

This helicopter crash in Glasgow is dreadful. I have recurring dreams about them and it's given me the chills. What a horrible freakish thing to happen, you're out having a good time in the pub and suddenly....They were just talking to a man who knew his dad was in there and he hasn't heard from him yet.
