Do a lot of adults use My Space?
I've never been on My Space or other sights like it. I thought they were really for teens/early 20's to chat/hook up. ( I am aware of all the pedophiles too.) I was surprised to learn that a number of teachers and staff I work with have pages. I would never open that door because of my students using it too. Why ask for trouble? Do many "grown ups" have My Space pages, and if so for what purpose? Or am I just not techno savy enough to see the benefits???

I'm afraid I'm not a fan. Although I can understand some reasons for having them such as keeping in touch with family abroad and promotions etc.
But otherwise I just don't get the point.

I have a Myspace so that my friends in America can easily see my latest pictures and blogs. I have it set to Private though so only my real friends can access it.
A friend of mine has a Facebook page and made a flippant comment on there about being hungover and unfit for work, whilst at work. Unfortunatley his boss found out and wasn't very happy.
I think you have to be careful about what you really want out there for the public to see.
