Hello , can anybody tell me if it would be possible for me to hook up my desktop comps speaker system to my laptop ? xxx

if it fits your socket!

if you have one of the surround sound 5.1 or 7.1 systems ... you'll have too many connections

but if you make do with the 2 main ... it should fit into the earphone socket .... keep the volume low and try ...

Yay , I have got it connected now , I was looking at the wrong connection but have since got the right one ...lol.
