Whats all this about?

When i start my laptop up, it comes up with this in a pop up box named RUNDLL:-

Error loading C:\WINDOWS\System32\gicxdpjl.dll

Is this why i cant load my game on it?
Everything else seems to work ok though.

Jugglering

Have you ever been able to load this game (you don't say what the game is though....) ? If so, then that library file has probably been accidentally deleted or moved. If not, try reinstalling the game.

Yeah sorry, my game was command and conquer. it was in an earlier post.
How do i sort it?

That looks very much like a Vundo infection. You will probably find a number of similarly random named files in the System32 folder and elsewhere which are very stubborn to shift.

I wouldnt waste your time with Norton. There are different variants of Vundo and it takes specialist tools to remove it.

Download and install the HijackThis Installer from here http://www.trendsecure.com/portal/en-US/tools/ security_tools/hijackthis/download

Run and select "Scan and save a logfile"

Then post the resultant log here, once you register http://www.virusvault.co.uk/fusionbb/showforum .php?fid/15/
