Looking to download NDS games, eh?

Do you have a DS media card - such as an R4, CycloDS, M3DS, etc?

Or are you planning on using an emulator on your PC?

Thanks Squarebear but can you tell me how I download the correct nds file extention to my PC (I am a novice at this game)

Mr Bounty, Yes it is the Nintendo nds file extention. I wish to download some Nintendo games as well as transfer some I have to my PC in order to write them to a new micro chip for my grandaughter. I've done a registry check which tells me all is ok but I still don't seem to have this nds file extention.

You can't run these files on your PC. They are designed for the Nintendo DS.

To be honest, if you are a novice, I wouldn't start downloading illegal software.
Nds is the proprietary format of Nitendo Game ROM, which means Nitendo Dual Screen as the acronym contains. It's designed for Nintendo DS (NDS) video game using two screens: one of which is touch-sensitive and the other is playable on a PC using a Nintendo DS emulator.

Thanks to all advisers. Regards...Tel
You download the .nds game ROMS from various sites (as you might be able to guess, they are not entirely legal!).

When you download them, you have a file called ****.nds (where the **** is the name of the game)

You them put these .nds files onto a microSD card, which goes into a DS media card (M3DS, CycloDS, R4, etc) and then into the Nintendo DS machine.

You switch on and you have lots of games to play.

No need for registry checks or anything like that - all you are doing is downloading the game ROM from the website and moving it onto the media card or playing it through an emulator.

Like square said, if you are a novice, i wouldnt recommend starting to download illegal stuff like this.
