I've just registered with a large garden supplies website and when I went to log on this message came up..

Is it anything to worry about? I don't shop on the internet very often, I'm a bit paranoid. :)

Evening all
Thanks for your wishes .Mr S has taken to his bed. It's unlike him to lay about in bed so he must feel really rotten, plus he's got no appetite which is most unusual !.I've just been giving him lots of fluids and soup ,it's a real stonker.
That's a sad thing to have to do Neti .I hope your results will be Ok x
Hope the rest of you are all toddling along .
It wasn't very Accu here today ,they said dry with variable sun and cloud not pizzling with rain all day !!
evening all, just on from dinner at the Criterion (we left it rather late to book so we could only get a 6pm slot) - I gave OH a discount voucher (aren't I the spendthrift) as a birthday present but only noticed too late it was for one not two. That proved to be lucky as I didn't fancy anything on the set menu anyway, and just ordered a nice steak. The set menu had a different glass of wine with each course, though, it so it was a fitting girt. The waiters got the order muddled up so they gave us a glass of champers as an apology. And it was all really tasty.

So sorry to hear the news about your sister, neti, so hard to bear when something lilke that happens suddenly. And my sympathies to Mr S as well. I am temporarily almost healthy but it cannot last, so I sympathise with fellow sufferers.
Good morning biddies.

poured in the night but sun is shining, I wish winter would get on with it.
just watching the news and Black Friday, that is so scary, people being trampled underfoot, I don't think bargains are worth that.

Morning all...well the weather's black this Friday.
Have you seen this stupidity at the 'sales'? I've never queued for any sale, not because I don't need a bargain, I do, I just don't need anything badly enough to go through that. And at the other end of the news there are people queing at food banks. Words fail me...well actually, they don't.

That was a sad task for you neti. Good luck with your test results.

Oh poor Mr S, sounds nasty shaney...wishing him well.

That's a poshe place jno but the food looks far too fancy for my delicate digestion...I think I need to find some celebrity chef to open a chain of resaurants for sufferers, we'll call it something like Rumbles....and out of town there can be run through services.

Morning all
Bit dull but not raining .Hooray.Looks as if it's going to be fine for the next few days ,dry at least .
That looks lovely Jno ,very grand .How's your tootsie ?
I just saw the Black Friday scrum on the news .I cba for anything like that.
tootsie still bleeding, shaney, but I have decided that walking about in shoon is not going to make it worse, it is just going to have to heal at its own speed. It is no longer swollen so getting it into a shoe is now possible once again.

Ah yes, Robi, this sounds like the restaurant for us invalids

lol...foie gras? zut alors! I was thinking more les purées et porridges
Lol..I see they do designer lunches .I wonder if they have cuppa soup and tst:)
At least you can get your shoes on Jno ,so that's progress.

I've had 26 emails this morning all for Black Friday .Just looked at the Daily Wail website (only because they have the best pics) ..what a scrum .
I like a bargain too but not if it entails all that pushing and shoving .One woman was laying on the floor grasping on to a tele as if her life depended on it .

It's even spread to Norfolk,GY Tescos :)

It's silly...I read somewhere one 56 yr old woman (old enough to have more sense, lol) said she'd bought a Dyson but she didn't know whether she really wanted it. Those 'knockdown prices' are available all year at one store or another. I got my bedroom tele with a good reduction and I didn't have to fight anyone for it...my sister picked it up for me. :)

I'd like some black ankle boots but I've managed this long so I can wait for some proper sales prices. I haven't even worn my longer length padded coat yet this year, it hasn't been that cold.
Good morning all. I hate sales and crowds with a passion. Jno, that looks like a fabulous place to dine with or without shoon (and that's a fabulous word)
and Robi that is such a creative idea for a restaurant, i bet they'd sell out. It reminds me of a town I read about near a weight clinic. The diet was based on cooked unsalted rice and all the restaurants in town sold meals based on it.

Rice fruit and white sugar!!!!!!!
Tis grey and chilly here and I must sweep leaves.
Ive been fighting everyone in the shops, no reason, thought it was the thing to do. Posted all xmas cards, they just hand frank them here no pretty stamps! Saw a friend of mine in the queue and she's had her lips pumped, couldn't stop staring, looked ridiculous and she was quite pretty for an old woman before.
Bit of a shock at doctors, apparently my kidneys are not functioning to their full extent, so have to see a specialist to determine what's wrong. Also have an app (jan 7th) for cyst in tooth to be looked at, that worries me mode.
Did more dec shopping as if I need it!
Won't say "It'll be fine"because that is dismissive but I will send a ton of good thoughts and an everything fine prayer. Good that you have had an appointment about your cyst. Kidneys play up for many reasons and most of them are not serious.
lol, shaney, that woman lying on the telly reminds me of the story about a man who was so astounded to find a parking space in the West End he told his wife to lie down in it while he bought a car.
Lol..Jno .It 's utter madness.
Thinking of you Neti .
How is Mr S doing?
Bit better today thanks Woofy .He did get up ,but very late .Still snarting and snorting though .I think all the gunge is starting to run now .
While you're about ...I've got a mole on my stomach ,not a brown one, one of those that looks a bit like a wobbly wart .Not very big ,but it's suddenly started to itch .Drove me bats yesterday so I put Eurax on it .Is it something I should see the doctor about ?
Question Author
I'm here for now shaney..do you mean a skin tag? If so they're harmless but if they catch on your clothes and get sore you can have them removed. Some local surgeries do it I think. Mention it next time you go.
It isn't a skin tag Robinia .I had a couple of those under my arm which they removed .This looks like a blister without the water in it .I've had it for ever since I can remember . Of course I must have clawed at it in my sleep and now it's red and sore and still itching :)
Oh shaney sounds unusual, better get it looked at. My dad always showed up how tomtie skintags at the base with cotton overnight and they had always gone, never did find one anywhere.
poor Mr S, he does appear to be suffering. I sympathise.
Made pork rib and lentil and veg stewey thing, yuk horrible but MrN liked it.
Question Author
Oh I think I know what you mean. Might be worth mentioning if it's bothering you. Are you due an appointment?
