Continually Returned Email From Friend

He has an aol.com address, we have both checked that I am addressing them correctly but they keep coming back undelivered, even when I use 'reply' - though the odd one does get through . I do not have the problem with any other emails. I'm not on his blocked senders list, what should he do please?

does he check hid junk file? Even though you aren't on his blocked list, it might think you are junk

If it comes back undelivered I can't see it being in his junk folder.

Has he run out of room in his account ? Does he download the e-mails to his PC or store them on the account with the provider ? He may need to do some housekeeping if kept on the server.

methyl; I've checked the address book again and the address is OK, but I noticed that 2 different people are next to one another, both 'Walter' one is a first name (the problem one) and the other is a surname. I have extended his name now by adding his surname on the address book and see if it makes any difference.
The NDR takes varying amounts of time, sometimes days, - which is most maddening because I assume it has been delivered. The last one was returned in minutes. I have just sent one email after making the alteration and will wait and see. The NDR itself is, as you suggest, bordering on gobbledygook, at least to me. Thanks .

I would suspect it was he rather than you (and your e-mail) who has a problem.
But a test delivery report can't hurt.
