I frequently get an error message when trying to send a Gmail, specially if it's replying to one:

"Oops... a server error occurred and your email was not sent. (#007)"

Just over the last month or so, and apparently at random. It won't save these emails as drafts, either.

Anyone know what's happening, or what I might do about it? (I have Hotmail and other email accounts but would prefer to use Gmail.)

There are various suggestions here, including: (a) simply log out of Gmail and log back in again ; (b) clear the cache and cookies from your browser ; and (c) if you're using Internet Explorer, use a different browser https://productforums.google.com/forum/#!topic/gmail/2RPrrWUUYzg Perhaps trying each of them might lead you to a solution?

oh, here we go

"In the background Joseph holds his saw in one hand while reaching to take some cherries (the fruit of paradise and symbolising Heaven) from a container held by a young boy, possibly St John the Baptist or an older manifestation of the Christ Child, helping his father. The older woman with a book could therefore be St Elizabeth, John’s mother, or St Anne, the Virgin’s mother. It is likely that it is a servant girl on the stairs silhouetted against a cloudy sky."

I suppose I should have asked naomi.
in otherwords nobody knows :) I like his visitation better....looks quite Arts and Crafts https://www.wga.hu/support/viewer/z.html

I thought that was a pot plant near the bottom left corner but when you blow it up it's very small people from Mars

Morning all
Yes I like The Visitation.I don't like other one much. That's a very large baby who has a face only a mother could love.
I do envy you Jno going to these exhibitions. Could you make a detour into the V&A at some stage and report back on the handbag exhibition :)

Yet another cold ,dank day here, drizzling with rain.
Hope you're all OK.
Awful body on that baby! We visited the winter palace in St Petersburg and boy are there some paintings there!
Bit I'd rather have seen the Faberģe collection instead of hours of trailing through the huge rooms and corridors!
I've made a cottage pie with quorn mince today. Hope its ok! Damp and chilly here and so much washing ! Hija had rather a jolly time last night and fell in the door just before curfew . Today she just cant work out why her clothes are sodden. So I've just washed them ! She fell asleep on the bed fully dressed and with mask on which worried me cos if she vomited it couldnt escape so I snuck in and removed it !
I did a sort out recently and I have enough handbags to stage my own exhibition....none worth more than about 4.99 though!
it strikes me that guy is a bit Richard Dadd-esque. I wonder if he had mental illness too?
Those two women behind Mary and St Elizabeth....strong family resemblance or he used the same model?
Oh Neti, hija must be a worry for you.

ah, children ... phone call from jno jnr last night: they've discovered something wobbly about the tower block he lives in, which is going to take six months to repair. They're not being thrown out, but their cars are - the basement will be in use so they've arranged supervised parking nearby.

Not a tragedy (if the management company is to be believed, but I am sceptical of everyone since Grenfell) but a new mum could do without the extra hike.

Also, they've been told they can't have more than six people on their balcony, as if.
Question Author
hm, just read the documents fully and it seems it's just the preliminary assessment that will take six months, not actual repair works.
Morning all
That sounds worrying Jno especially with the baby due.
Anything going wrong in tower blocks now is worrying after the Grenfell disaster.
Another dank dull day here. Hope you're all ok.
Hello all. Just list a big post!
I've been wary of tower blocks since Ronan Point!
The Star of Bethlehem can be seen for the first time since 1226 for 45 mins after sunset on 21dec! Look towards the Western horizon!
Yes woofy hija is a complete nightmare and a constant worry to me. But there you go. Even at her age I cant stop worrying. Wish she would find a partner!
Weather here is changeable warm and sunny one day and grim the next! Friday was very blowy so did lots of washing and it all dried. That makes me happy!
Tomorrow we go to Tier 2. It's much the same to me. We mainly stay at home and that's it!
Question Author
Tier 3 on Wednesday for us. As far as I know we can still visit my sis on the 25th; if not I will stay home and stick pins in wax models of Boris.
I think they will try all ways not to lock down christmas because so many people wouldn't do it and once folk have broken the barrier once, its easier the next time till we are all in the poo.
Having a lot of problems with my emails..both Yahoo and gmail to Canada. Returned saying spam!.it is most annoying. Just tried again and fingers crossed it hasnt come back!
Question Author
my sis is in Essex but I think will still be in the Tier 2 part. I hope I don't get shot by border police as we try to wriggle under the wire in the dark.
tell them you are going to test your eyesight
Question Author
that's an idea. I might even get a pay rise to reward my inventiveness

https://www.theguardian.com/politics/2020/dec/15/dominic-cummings-received-40000-payrise-while-at-no-10
Afternoon all
Haha Jno perhaps he'll use the pay rise to buy some new designer glasses. Not funny though when so many people are on the breadline.
Bit dull and dank again after a couple of fairly nice days during which most of the new fence was put in.Just one more panel to fit but this involves grinding out an old ivy stump so hopefully it'll be finished before Christmas then we can weather any storms without worrying.
Nothing much doing otherwise ,same old.
Hope you're all well.
Hello folk! Yay after about a month of nothing we have had a postal delivery and lots of xmas cards!
Trailed around the village looking firn presents for hija but theres not much that she likes! And it's all so expensive!
