Is such a thing made?
27 Answers
I often attend conferences where I have extensive written notes regarding the issues to be discussed. The work is confidential and unless I choose to discuss matters in my notes, the notes must remain confidential. Unfortunately, I sit between two people who have a habit of glancing at my notes and an information leak has recently occurred.
To try to stop this continuing, I’m trying to obtain some form of polymer sheet which I can place over my notes so that only I, sitting directly in front of them, can see the notes. I’m thinking in terms of the polarising sheets I was shown in school many years ago which only passed light through when they were orientated in a certain way.
I do appreciate that technology has moved on but I’m not certain if such a thing has been made. Due to the nature of the conference discussions, mobiles, netbooks, laptops and ipads etc are banned from the conference room.
I would be very grateful for any suggestions.
Thank you.

They aren't go to get there soon as they don't have the experience. However, it doesn't stop them trying to walk over everyone to reach their goal. They do have technical experience over certain matters so I can't exclude them from the meeting.
I know it's them as they suggested a particular course of action within hours of sitting next to me that was so radical that hadn't even occurred to other people sitting around the table.

I am still unsure of the exact situation here. You state that you chair the meeting. I infer that these two have some association with you or your company and that they are junior to you. If this is the case who are they proposing your ideas to? Is it absolutely necessary for these notes to exist at all?
