Ipad update

I heard a rumour that apple is supposed to be doing a significant update in september which is supposed to bring a lot of new things to the ipad, has anyone else heard this?

im close to calling it bull because I cant find any mention of it.

No, it's ok. Just find it a bit of a faff (even though it is kind of cool). It's getting the laptop out and plugging the iphone in and then remembering what to do and then the iPad thing - I know it should be easy but I really haven't got the hang of it (seems a bit daft that you buy a computer thingy and then need another computer to mke it work properly). And it's never about when the kids are as they are always playing on it (even the three years point to it now !).

Lots of rumours as usual, but nothing concrete. Seems a bit quick to bring out a new version. iPad 2 was only released in March this year. iPhones/iPods are more likely in September

It is called IOS 5.

It is a software update for your iPad 2 but there is a possibility that there will be an iPhone 5 release.

IOS 5 will work with your iPad 2 and iPad 1 and iPhone 4 and 3GS I believe.
