20 Answers
Had a bit of a blip with the laptop today, it wouldn't accept my password, so I couldn't get into it at all. I switched it off, and on again, and then it was OK. But what would I do, if it happened again, and I couldn't get into my laptop at all ? I'm not technical so easy answers pleasse ! Thanks all. windows 7 by the way.

some desktops have a CMOS clear jumper on the motherboard, or on most stuff you can just remove the CMOS battery and the main battery/power lead and then try and turn on the computer with no power to it or wait 20min and it clears it. Though are are a handful that simply can't be cleared (very rare)

Four days ago, I had an embarrassing experience that I forgot Windows administrator password. As there is so much important data on my disk, I can not reinstall Windows. However, I thankfully found a useful tool Windows password Seeker at about.com PC support channel. I download the program from passwordseeker.com and follow step-by-step instructions. Finally, I removed Windows password successfully. http://www.passwordseeker.com/howtouse.html
