printer repair

where can i get my printer repaired? the scanner works on it only, the paper keeps getting jammed. i have tried all sorts to mend it and its just got worse. its a lexmark prestige pro805. we never had a guarantee as it was given to us but its about 2 yrs old only. Are there special shops that repair them? Also would i be better buying a new one , i think they are about 100-150 pounds?

..mmm...lots of printer repair websites on Google...get an estimate and if too much dump it and get a new one.....In my experience that's usually the best option...............

Yes at computer repair charges ranging from £50/£100 hour its beeter to search for a new one. Printers only seem to have a short shelf life and printer cartridges sometimes cost more than the printer itself.

Agree about replacing it. Most repair places will charge more than the cost of a new item.
