adding contacts to Orange Monte Carlo (zte skate)

Idiot of Ibiza here... I have somehow managed to lose all my phone contacts on my android phone. It says to add contacts press "menu" and import them, err, where is the menu button?? Been trying for three days for find it. TIA

I give up, have just done exactly what they say on the manual, and all the nos appear and then I cannot find them again! grrrrrr!
