msn messanger 7

i use msn messenger 7 to keep in touch with my son in france. we use webcam and type to each other, if i invite him to have an audio conversation his system shuts down. As my fingers are getting sore at this stage i would apprecciate any help.

If all else fails, I'd try Skype

I have been using skype for a while now, it is clearer and better than the msn audio conversation. Is a free service. Just use the webcam with msn and the audio with skype.
