Clear type

I previuosly asked this but no reply, does anybody know please how i set my XP pc to use clear type, thankyou to anyone able to help

Right-click anywhere on your desktop (but not in a window) to bring up the context menu and select Properties.

In the Display Properties box select the Appearance tab, click on Effects and tick the box for 'Use the following method to smooth edges of screen fonts:' and select ClearType. Close all of the open boxes by clicking OK.
