When I open Firefox I am getting a split page showing a left panel that I would like to remove can someone please help.

ron.... I am sorry to say it, but it does appear that you do get yourself into difficulties by trying different e/mail programmes. I think at one time you were advocating Incredimail as something special and now you appear to be using..inbox. Al.

The instructions for importing your GMail contacts can be found here:

The get new mail sent to your GMail address forwarded to your GMX account, log in to GMX and click 'Mail collector' and 'Add Account', then follow the instructions in the wizard.

Hi again Chris. After several unsuccessful attempts to link GMX with both Gmail & Outlook I have decided that the hassle is too much & have therefore deleted GMX account & reverted to my long standing & trusted email addresses. Thanks again for for your usual helpfulness in trying to get me through something that once again I never should have started in the first place.
