Every so often I get a message on screen saying 'Unresponsive plugin' I usually have to close the window and start again. It often takes ages to close the window. I think I have the up to date version of flash as I updated last week. So any boffins out there to help. Could it be my computer or Broadband or something else?

Yes , you need Flash to be working properly so as to play Mamya's music threads. Consequently, it's the area of Flash that appears to need attention.
Forget for the moment any downloading and running of uninstall tool. However, click open Control Panel > Programmes and features > Adobe Flash Player Plugin > Disable....... Then download from the following site :-

Make sure that you untick the McAfee box before clicking to download the Flash Player. After downloading it will be necessary to run the file which you should find in your 'Downloads' folder.
Hopefully that should put matters right.

Jeza......Please answer the questions from methyl. It will certainly help methyl to reply further and also aid my additional thoughts on your problem.
Upon hearing again from you, I may be able go through a few things for you to try; including temporarily turning off your Firewall, along with your Anti Virus protection programme.
Hopefully you only have one AV programme, because more than one can cause all sorts of conflicts.

Jeza...What advice did you take which resulted in your loosing Internet Connection.? I honestly don't think there is anything suggested in this thread which could have caused a breakdown in your Internet service. If you feel there was then please say exactly what happened and the steps which you took to get back on line.

No wye I always use firefox but when I couldn't get on I tried the other two and couldn't get on with them either. I have just posted another thread about safely binning this computer and what I need to do about my privacy before I do. I realise this may seem extreme to you techies but I'm just a older person with not a lot of computers.
