Ethernet connection?
11 Answers
This might sound a stupid question, but I've got an Evesham Evolution PC that I bought back in November 2002, but I'm not sure if I've got an Ethernet connection. According to the manual this PC has 2 Modem Line Jacks and 1 Firewire, are either of these Ethernet connections?

Also, look at "Device Manager" if using Windows and look for "Network Adaptors". Anything listed there?
As mentioned, they're dead cheap if you don't have one.

Also, from looking at the pictures here, you can see that it just plugs into a spare PCI slot

Thanks stevie21, I've looked in Device Manager as you suggested and under Network Adaptors there is:
Speedtouch (My Modem)
1394 Net Adaptor (???)
Intel(R) Pro/100 VE Network Connection (???)
Doesn't look like I've got an Ethernet connection, so I'll buy the Lan Card, just hope it's easy to install!!
