can anyone help me with a little problem i have with a pdf file. i have dowloaded 8 boarding passes from easyjet, which come in the form of a pdf file. the top half of each page contains the essential information for boarding, the bottom half contains a load of non-essential advertising material in the form of photographs which use up an enormous amount of ink. is there any way of selecting what i want to print, or de-selecting or cutting the rubbish i dont want. i am sick and tired of easyjets boarding passes which always come like this. they apparently dont have the technology yet to have the boarding pass sent to your phone.

The whole thing about a pdf file is that you can't alter it - unless you download something that will convert it back to its original format. Hopefully a techie will come along and give you a link.
On the internet I also found this which says you can use mobile phone

thanks very quick responses. i dont have the easyjet app, but will get it. when you go online to get and print boarding passes it doesnt offer the option at that stage but that is using a laptop rather than a mobile phone to access the documents. i have also looked at the snapshot tool as well and can see how that will work. thanks for the help
With any kind of file, when printing don't click the short-cut icon. Go to 'file' 'print' and then scrutinise the options offered, one of which will be 'print this page only'.
I haven't read the above links, but I'd take screen grabs of the relevant parts of the documents and print from those rather than the pdf.

the problem with these boarding passes is that a single page has both the check in details, and the useless advertising material, so printing a single page doesnt help in this instance. however, the snapshot tool is brilliant, simply allows you to highlight any area you want and print that off. the option when you get to the print page is then selected graphic. but i have also downloaded to my phone the easyjet app so have them there as well. problem with the ones downloaded into the phone is that there are 4 of us and only one smartphone to download them to which means we have all got to line up to check in at one desk. paper is easier in these circumstances but to have them in the phone is great as paper is so easily misplaced.
