How Do I Change My Ebay Password?

I have been trying all day to get into my EBay account, and have requested an email back but nothing has happened. I rang Customer Support a while ago and they promised to ring me back, but still nothing. I can't get past the page asking me what type of response I want.
Help appreciated.

No, Sandy. I can't get to that page at all. Just the sign in page then the options, and then there is no reponse - no email back.

While I don't have an e-bay account I noticed that question earlier and thought it might have helped. I'm sure there'll be another ABer along shortly who'll be able to help.

the email will go to the original email address when you opened the account also the text message will go to the original number you gave

When you get to the page asking how you want to reset have you clicked on one of the options?

I did it the other day and took a couple of minutes to find the right place.

I had to go into - summary and then my account and then my details (or something like that) and it allowed me to change the password with no problem.

chelle7272 warned a mate in liverpool to change his early last week he did not bother till i think it was friday evening and he has the same problem

they have blocked loads and people can't log in to change them

Hello everyone. Thank you all for your help. I wasn't able to get past the sign in options, so have now called EBay again and I am up and running. Thank heavens for that!!

DrF - thanks I hadn't realised that, I just changed our work account today with no problem at all. Guess I was lucky then.

chelle7272 i think he said if he knew the original email and password he would be ok but with not being able to log in and see the email address used he had no chance

it was an old account and he has change his isp a few times and never updated the info
