it's not really an answer (sorry!!) but I really do sympathise!! 

I am having the exact same problem as you.. I've tried everything to get rid of it - uninstalled the "Block Checker" that I unintentionally installed when someone sent me the link, which seemed to 'half-work' because it stopped sending that message to my contacts when they got in touch.  It was still there, but in my window of the messaging box so I was able to delete it. 

Unfortunately, that didnt last & I'm back to square one.. so if someone lets you know, I'd be v.v.grateful if u would be so kind as to pass the knowledge onto little old me!!

actually i think its a bad idea to know whos blocking you...might be a few shocks...and you thought your bezzy mate was just on holiday? well....

I suffered too with this rubbish ! Go to www.block-checker.com  then click on tools and down load the uninstall software and eventually unistall the damn thing following the instructions that comes with the software as notpad. But becareful, you need to go into the system registry.  I can tell everyone is having same problem and i did the same thing too by asking for help from answerbank :-)
