Tomtom Signal...

I attempted to use my satnav today but all I got was a flashing message saying:- 'waiting for valid GPS signal.
Luckily I also have a garmin that worked fine, once the maps were loaded.

So is it normal to get the signal flashing up ?

Yes ....if you are in an area with bad reception. Try moving your vehicle and see what happens.
