After unsuccessfully trying to adjust the sensitivity of the touchpad on my laptop (with Chris's kind assistance) I've decided to invest in a mouse.

Are they all much the same, or has anyone got any recommendations please?

Thanks

Hi Baths, am sure you'll love your little mouse.

If you are looking for a mat I can recommend this type - very easy on the wrist.

Hey Mamya!! I managed it!! Love it, wish I'd got one months ago!!

Thanks for link...shall have a look in a minute. I'm currently using placemat with a rather pleasing Monet picture on it :D

And I haven't needed to raise it.....it works fine on lower height surface!

(apologies for starting a sentence with 'And'...I do know better but I'm happy + excited) ;)

RSI?
We bought a new wireless printer yesterday, may have to get the Mice to set it up. (Mice = daughter and bf, we call them the Mice because they eat us out of house and home when they appear and they are both in IT)

@Ron....thanks! :-)

@Psybs....I've never been troubled with RSI thankfully,...my problem is I don't sit correctly, + I get lower back pain, + a headache from tense shoulders + neck.

Another thought, Chris may be able to tell you how to disable the touchpad as I have found sometimes my bracelet activates it

Been using one of these since December,

Well pleased with it.
You've fitted the mouse yourself?

Brilliant , Bathy...who needs Chuckfickens eh?
Question Author
@ Psybbs.....good idea ere disabling...I actually think I could manage that myself....am getting to quite the geek....pmsl :)

@Baldric...bit pricey that one, but I bet the soft rubber grip makes it comfy to use

@Talby...Yay!! Go me, eh? ;) Aaww, Chuck, bless....I do miss him on here but I can have a word with him in another place..think I shall put that on my to-do list :D

And the excitment continues...just found out that Hall +Oates are on Sky Arts1 at 9 tonight!! Clashes with Anna Karenina on Ch4, but that's no problem with Tivo....us techy types can sort that out in a flash :D

Thanks lovely peeps,....sorry if I've brought a Chatterbank style in to here, but I can't help meself...lol!

Have a great Saturday evening
