Facebook For Business

I am starting up as a mobile DJ, and I want to advertise on Facebook, because I am advised that this is where people will look for a party DJ.
How can I ensure that my Facebook page will be seen by the right people?
I am a complete beginner with FB - my daughter is going to set up my page for me, I just need to know what to put on it - images, etc., and how to make sure that the right people, and enough of them can see it.
Thanks for any advice.

He always has a load of business cards with him and hands them out. He also has a large sign with his contact details at every venue. It has got to the stage where he sometimes has to turn down people as he would be double booked.
Thanks all - I have all the 'non-Facebook' advertising angles covered, it was simply the Facebook aspect that I needed some with - but thanks again all for your supportive suggestions and kind words.
Eddie - I know that good DJ's get repeat business, and often one gig leads to another, I have enjoyed that experience before, I have just been out of the loop for a number of years, but am leaping back in again!
I remember doing an 18th birthday party in a pub, and when I was setting up, the landlord was giving me earache about playing the right music, and not being too loud. When I was packing up, he offered me a weekend residency!!

/// Andy, I'll drag my lot and our kid and his crew to your first
venue :-) ///
Who says a little advertising in the right quarters doesn't pay off? :0) //
You've tried to swerve the thread with your animosity, now you are trying to be 'humorous' - why don't you just leave well alone, you have no answers to my Op that I am interested in reading.
