Email Problem.

I had my Kndle switched off for a few days as it wasn't needed. Upon powering it up again I found some emails there that hadn't appeared on my laptop. I have recently changed my electric supplier and the emails were from them. I have only got a gmail address and everything else comes to my laptop.
Have I messed something up?

Ok, no difference but (and this is probably a big but) I forgot to mention that I have two gmail adresses. Lets call them A & B. B is a little used one but is the one that the elec supplier uses. It comes through fine to the Kindle but doesn't appear on the laptop. I've just sent one from A to B and it appears on the Kindle only. I sent one from B to A and it appears on both the laptop and Kindle!
I'm afraid I have been called out so will have to leave it for now.
