Slow Computer
23 Answers
Why is my computer sooo sloooow.? Fed up of watching the circle going round and round. I could go and cook a three-course meal and bake a cake and when I come back it would still be going round and round and round. I don't know what info you need from me, but please ask away if you think you can help. Thanks. x

No idea how to find out the amount of RAM, or the total hard disk size or the free hard disk space or the operating system version. I should have warned you I don't know the first thing about this. Tony wifi signal how do I know if it's up to strength? Does it not reboot when I switch it off at night? I have a car and I consider myself to be a good driver but I've never once opened the bonnet. :-).If it's too late for you to sort me out, please come back to me tomorrow if you can. x

You can supply more details by typing into the search box 'system'. In the best match choices click on "About your PC" .Specifications will be shown on the Windows that then opens. On that same Window scroll down to 'Storage' and that will give current status of your HDD.
I suspect you've got too many processes running at the same time using up too much Ram memory. Quite a few can be switched off, but we cannot advise you any further without more info.
