have opened up and that's it. I managed to put plug in. nothing lights up.

all along the side of the lap top there are openings for buttons etc but in the box there are no buttons or fixtures.

Do I have to take the buttons out of the hard drive of my computer and try and fit THOSE in. I know nothing about laptops. Thanks

The 'holes' in the side of your laptop are ports for USB devices, etc. You can ignore them for now if you're simply trying to get to grips with the machine. There will be a power button somewhere on the laptop, marked with the usual broken circle with a line cutting into it. e.g....

well hope I get help - I am wanting to bring back to store and of course - I was able to started and get my email address on.

How now can I bring this to default before I bring back. I definitely don't want it.
