How to link to a web address

Hi

Can anybody tell me how to insert a link to a web address in a posting?

hi dove, if you open a seperate window, then find the page you want, right click in the address bar and click copy, then in the answerbank page you have open, right click in the posting window and click paste. If you do a space after the web address and highlight the link you can write whatever you want so instead of say http://play.com/ showing it would say cds

Commoner, you forgot to add www. to the http then it will work.

...OK now...dudley and steve and all...here is my final attempt.......

...mmm...I seem to have a problem as when following stevie21's tute link, the pasted link doesn't show as a hyperlink...it is just text without the underlining ....I tried this in an email in OE and it works just fine....after pasting and moving on a space the address changes colour and is underlined as the tute says..........wonder why it doesn't happen in AB? That is why it won't work for me here.

the instructions don't say to press space after the link. Press return (it'll then appear as a hyperlink) and then press delete to back to where you were before.

Use Internet Explorer and the instructions are fine.
