Long Shot! How To Vandalise My Kettle!!

I recently bought a new kettle. It has lots of features that I like but there is one huge issue with it. Everytime I turn it on, and when it turns itself off, it emits a very loud and VERY irritating beeeep!
I know that some other kettles have this feature but they also have the facility to turn it off. I have phoned Bosch customer services who say that unfortunately there is no option to turn the noise off on this kettle.
I realise that there are bigger issues going on in the world! but if anyone has any suggestions I would love to hear them - once I take my ear defenders off obviously!!
This is the offending item -

Lots of 'features'.....on a kettle?
What a shame you didn't read those reviews before you bought the kettle, the beep is mentioned several times.
If you do find a way to disable it you will void the warranty so leave well alone
Sell it. Get another but do read the instructions.. :-)
I had that kettle but the beep never bothered me thank goodness. Mine went BANG after 2-3 years so if you can wait a while it should solve your problem itself ... ;-))
Wow 90 quid for a kettle, you're worse than me. Kettles have become ridiculously expensive over the years.
You can still buy cheap electric kettles, plenty of choice.
I know, every time one of my c £60 gives up (a near annual event) I drag a £4.99 one out of the cupboard to use while I'm waiting for my next expensive one to arrive. Colour is my top priority :-)

Zacs - yes, lots of 'features' ie rapid boil, temperature selection, keep warm settings. Not standard on all kettles.
Barry - I bought it in Argos and I don't believe the beep was even mentioned in their description of the kettle. I also read their reviews however the beep didn't seem to be coming up as a major issue. I imagine it maybe just annoys some people more than others.
Patsy - I have read all the instructions too but they arrived along with the kettle and the only instruction i was looking for was 'where is the switch to turn the beep off'!
Ladybirder - that made me laugh!
Prudie - they certainly have got expensive, but they really are the workhouse in our houses aren't they?
