My only concern would be what is the storage capacity of the new laptop. W11 is a top class operating system but in my experience it performs beter( particularly during upgrades etc.) if you have plenty of spare capacity on the hard drive. Do you know what the hard drive capacity is on the lappie? ie 128gb is going to require very pared back file storage and ap. installations from you. I would hesitate if you do not have at least a 256gb hard drive and still hesitate if you have already got 100gb taken up in storage for pictures and files etc. Microsoft will let you upgrade to W11( and I would) because they can hopefully sell you cloud support for hard pressed hard drives.
