No internet connection available after using limewire

After i have an extended session on limewire and i subsequently go on the internet no page can be displayed and i have to restart - Anyone know whats going on? and how to sort the problem out

I get the same problem as well, Its seem like Limewire locks up the whole bandwidth and nothing else can get in then. What I do is go to Limewire - tools - options - downloads and the download bandwidth is usually set to unlimited, change it to be just below your actual bandwidth and this might solve the problem. it will stop limewire to take the whole bandwidth but the difference will not slow downloads much in reality.
