You will either be very lucky and be able to hook up to a neighbour's unsecured wi-fi, which is illegal and could land you a big fine.

Or you will have to do it through your mobile phone, which is expensive.

Use dial-up, either on the landline or on your mobile phone. But unless you have 3G or GPRS, expect to pay lots for painfully slow transfer speeds. I'd avoid the latter if possible, and if there is a phone line in the property, dig out your modem cable and dial-up using that, since it will be a hell of a lot cheaper and faster than using your mobile phone.
