AVG Anti Virus

Guys I downloaded the above free Anti Virus & got my license no & everything, located file and tried to run as per instructions, nothing happened. Help

Is there an Icon in the bottom right hand corner that looks like a multicolored Box?

Paul B: No there is no icon. My run programme asks for the name of the file which I typed in and then it tells me it is going to open it, but the instructions from AGV says it is an executable programme please run and will start SET Up but nothing happens!. P S thanks for you help, much appreciated.

Silly question probably but I take it that you have Winzip or similar installed.

i've downloaded this twice and I still get a CBBC's Balamory screensaver?

You have probably guessed by now I am a complete novice with computers etc and no I do not think I have got Winzip or similar, I think I am going to get some local help before I do anything further thanks all the same.

That's probs best. It's a bit of a nightmare if you're not in front of the computer to kinda diagnose the problem... Sorry i can't help further. Best of Luck :o)
