1. Connect a SCART lead from the "TV" socket on your freeviewbox to the connector marked "AV1" on your TV;
2. Connect another SCART lead from the "VCR" socket on freeview box to the SCART in/out connector on your VCR.
Using RF (coaxial) leads:
1. Connect a coaxial cable from the external aerial to the "IN" (female) socket on your VCR. This enables terrestrial recording if required.
2. Connect another coaxial cable from "OUT" (male) socket on your VCR to the Sky digibox RF IN (female) socket on your Sky digibox
3. Connect a coaxial cable from the RF1 OUT socket on your Sky digibox to the aerial connector on your TV.
To record, set your VCR as normal, but for the channel number select AV (if using a SCART connection) or the channel number you have tuned your TV to when watching Sky channels (e.g. 6). Set the Sky digibox to the channel number for the channel you want to record. If you are setting up for later recording you will need to ensure that no-one changes the channel and that you do not turn your digibox off or put it in 'Stand-by' mode.
