Getting rid of McAfee

I had McAfee pre-installed on my Dell laptop and the subscription runs out soon. I plan to replace it with AVG and Zone Alarm. Anyone had any issues getting rid of McAfee? Some other software bundled in has been a pain to get rid of and just wondered if this behaved itself?

some time ago, i had a programme conflict issue with mcafee and had to install an updated version. to completely uninstall the earlier version i had to download a special uninnstaller from mcafee
