PLays in Dvd player but not on pc

Hi guys,

I done a tandem skydive in Duban last christmas and while it was great and i got a DVD to take home i cant make a back up of it, cause it wont play in my pc, even though i'm using WinDvd, WMp plug in, Interactual player.

Basically every dvd playing/ripping software has troulbe even recognising that its even a dvd.

How is it, that it can play in a dvd player, is there a special file type only dvd players can recognise?

Download VLC Player from the following site. it is a free player and plays pretty much anything.
