My friend has just returned from 4 months in America and now finds that he is unable to send e-mails, his computer works otherwise, but refuses to send e-mails. Does anyone know why? He wondered if it had been disconnected because of non-use?

Hi Ethel, Just spoken to my friend. He has resolved the problem at last it was something to do with 'ticking a box which said hang up when finished' but it was cutting him off everytime. Cant say I understand it, but all is well. Oh his server is BT! Thank you for replying. J.
