video clip and slideshow
2 Answers
I have recently copied a short video clip onto a Maxell DVD+RW disc using Nero.
I then tried to make a slide show of some photos onto the same disc, but it would not allow me to, so I put them onto another blank DVD+RW.
I copied both the Video Clip and the Slide Show onto my Liteon's DVD recorder hard drive and they both play from that hard drive.
I then tried to copy them off my hard drive onto two separate DVD+R discs but it would not let me, saying the discs were incompatible.
I then tried to copy them onto DV+RW the copy of the Video clip was successful but the slide show was not.
What am I doing wrong please?

It's probably the slide show which is causing problems. Do you want to watch the slide show on a pc or standalone dvd player. They use different tecnology to display pictures and video. If your slideshow is in .avi format I can give you a link to a prog that will convert from avi to dvd and make a dvd for you. Nero is good if you have the correct format to begin with (data / avi for pcs and videots for dvds) but it's no good at converting.
