Apparently, if you type *0# (star, zero, hash, space) in the text field you can get delivery reports. This will sound really silly, but what on your phone is the text field? This person said it's not where you add the recipient's number, is it just where you're typing the message then?

all you need to do is go to the message sending settings and tick the box for delivery reports.

I know, but on my phone for some reason it doesn't have it, I know it seems unusual, but even if I tick it they don't come through, took it into the o2 shop and they said delivery reports with them aren't compatible on my phone
to my knowledge, you cant get delivery reports as standard with o2...
swapping between o2 and an Orange sim on a nokia 6230 i couldnt get delivery reports from o2 but could Orange.

I personally didn't thinky you could either, but have since tried using the code above before I write out the rest of the message and it works! =]
